My Obsession

Call me nerdy or whatever, but I just luurrrvvvv what I'm doing this week. Some people couldn't make it to their Catia Advance training, so I pitched in. And I'm soooo glad....no distractions from other departments (as always) This week, its just me and my Catia..And so much time to think, and do stuffs I've wanted to do, but couldn't coz I'd go home exhausted everyday from Shah Alam. This week, its all about Damansara. Such bliss...

Holiday No More :p

Back to office, I am...Happy, am not, not happy, am not as well...Its been 2 weeks since the day I said babai and bid everyone at the office Selamat Hari Raya! And now I'm back, and was immediately thrown into a mountain of work...(I don't even have time to call anyone or blog anything, for heaven's sake!)Anyway...I find this both annoying and great; annoying coz part of my brain is still singing to Saloma's evergreen Selamat Hari Raya, while another part of me finds this push a great help to pass the time...for the past 2 days, I've somehow come up with a routine:

1. take off from KL at 6.50, while trying very hard, getting my eyes to open, and concentrate on the road..this has been torturous, since its been raining both the days, and rain is soooo good if you could crawl back into bed, but hell if you had to get to work...yuck!
2. reach the office's carpark (which is about 10 mins away from my desk by foot), shield the windshield (with that cover thingy I never got to know the name), hug my cushions, and go to sleep for about 10 mins...feeling better (but contact lenses got dried a bit, but heck) and start to walk the extra mile...
3. toss my things onto my desk, switch on the design machine (in other words, computer), get hot water from the pantry, and finally sit down, and make the coffee of the day (i miss this routine during puasa...ahhh...my coffee...)
4. work like crazy, chat a bit with Zai, and shoots off at 10.30 to Nilai, to go see my vendor (meeting yang sangat meleret...thank God I had my colleague with me...Sarah) till dusk..ayooo...

Penat OK...and I am sooo screwed actualy...forgot to make reservations for the girls' getaway plan in 3 weeks...Zai (organizer) will kill me...looking forward to that weekend hols...

The 5 People You Meet In Heaven

This post is loooong overdue. I must say that this book may have been one of the many, most influential books I've ever read. Its a story book that makes you think, and I've made a simple summary and managed to pick out the best representation and quotation of the 5 characters and of how this book may change people's life, and how they look at things that happens in their lives. Here goes:

1. Strangers are just family you have yet to come to know.
2. Sacrifice is a part of life. Its supposed to be. Its not something to regret. Its something to asprire to.
3. Holding anger is a poison. It eats you from inside. We think that hating is a weapon that attacks the person who harmed us. But hatred is a curved blade. And the harm we do, we do to ourselves. Forgive.
4. Lost love is still love. You can't see their smile or bring them food, or tousle their hair, or move them around a dance floor. But when those senses weaken, another heightens. Memory becomes you partner. Life has to end. Love doesn't.
5. Everyone makes an accomplishment in whatever that they do. Never feel that you've accomplished nohing. You are supposed to or destined to be where you are. A friend once told me that rezeki comes with purpose and reason. The reason for my existance in my current office: to have great friends, to accomplish so many things that I love to do and to learn.

So in conclusion, each affects the others and the other affect the next, and the world is full of stories, but the stories are all one. This book is highly recommended, and best bought and kept as your very own masterpiece, to be sent down to your children and family.

Raya Yang Bes

Selamat Hari Raya to all my friends and family. May everyone have a joyous Syawal, and may Ramadhan have passed as blessedly as how it should be. Today's the 3rd day of Raya, and like any other year in Malaysia (especially in KL), there are 23 more days to go, before the closing of houses to others (ini agak drastic la plak...not saying that you can't visit my house any other days of the year) Anyway...3 days and I've managed to so far maintain my weight, maintain my high on ketupat and rendang, and at the same time, maintaining my confusion on whether I could or couldn't eat today (confuse kalau2 puasa lagi ke). This happens sometimes, coz you somehow get used to not eating the whole 1 month.Pelik OK...and the next thing you see is my sis, gulping down Coke, and confirm dah Raya...yay!Anyway..in these 3 days I've managed to:

1. Day 1- Go visit Ayah's, Nenek's and Nyang's pusara in the morning...Go to Wan Long's, Wan Chik's, Tok Joyah's, Wan Mah's houses and ate like there's no tomoro..hehe..bes bes
2. Day 2-Be the best host to family and friends who managed to pop over for a taste or 2 of my mom's yummylicious Beriani Pakistan.
3. Day 3-Go to Seremban, not knowing how to go about to Paroi, but managed to, without much guidance, and managed to find Han's house on my own (only address provided) and Ariff's (Mr. Left Neighbour) house, also very much on my own (only street name provided...I searched for his house by searching for his car...giler tak giler), and once I reached home, I pengsan till nite time..hehe..penat OK

I'm still up and about now (its 3 am now, and I know how some would ternganga terkejut, coz some of you guys know how early I sleep daily) and I think I'll reward myself by waking up very late tomoro.hehe.Nite Bloggie, and again, Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir dan Batin.
