good ol' manchester

ive been to manchester before, thanks to a cousin nearby, who had graciously driven us around, when mak was around...and another time, with some of the kids here, to meet some company reps, for work at the manchester uni...

so why should i go again?

well...im glad i did...went to manchester yesterday with ada and shabz...we ticked most of the things we had in our little checklist, but covered all that was important...lets see...
Old Trafford was amazing...withstanding 2-times bombed, and its 1958 tragedy, I am now a pledged MU supporter...I'm sure Ayah would've enjoyed this trip, being an MU fan himself :)

Lunch at Curry Mile was definitely worth every penny...We had the lunch deal of 8 pounds, for a 3 course meal...This was the second starter...Had huge papadams before that with various chutneys, and Lamb Curry and Briani Rice for main course...

Manchester University Square...Business School...Looking very prestigious...

The famed Manchester Christmas Market...We went to 3 markets...International, German and French markets...Gorgeous stuff and loved the way everyone was enjoying mugs of warm juice, mulled wine, and coffee with pancakes and hot dogs (not the typical American ones...these are authentic hot dogs that made even myself salivate..) I had only macaroons though...safest bet :p
